We Help Adults, and Teens Heal from Suicidal Thoughts
Our program knows how to help you or a loved one to heal from Self-Harm, a condition in which a person deliberately causes injury to himself or herself, more than only in the form of cutting, at times by burning, punching, head banging, or breaking their own bones. It can also be characterized by participation in high-risk activities.
Self-Harm (also known as self-abuse, self-mutilation, or self-injury) can be the way in which a person can express feelings he or she cannot put into words. Some individuals divert from painful emotions or gain power over their own body if he or she feels they can’t control anything else in their life. It is also a cry for help.
Many who suffer from Self-Harm report some type of childhood abuse (sexual or physical), and almost all say they were discouraged from showing emotions. Self-Abuse is not generally seen as a cry for help, since it is usually done in secret and works to hide the actions and emotions that lead to it. Your loved one may feel alone or empty, frightened by the thought of intimate relationships.
Treating Self-Harm in Adults and Teens
Because Self-Injury may be linked to a variety of mental disorders like depression or eating disorders, it is especially necessary to properly diagnose yourself or your self-harming loved one.
There is not a single treatment approved for this disorder, but a myriad of options, such as different types of therapy. Treatment might include helping you to understand destructive thoughts and behaviors, gaining skills in developing outside relationships, and mindfulness-based therapies (which help them to live in the present and properly construe the behaviors of those around).

"NO WARRANTY" LEGAL NOTICE: While independent outcomes studies have shown very high recovery rates for indiviuals in our programs, we cannot guarantee recovery for any particular individual. Recovery and future abstinence from addicting substances and the effects that such substances may have on the individual or their life, actions, or their future are entirely dependent on the individual and how well they apply the principles we have taught them. We are an educational institution, and how the individual in our program learns from what they are taught and modeled here, is totally up to them. Individuals who stay the full term (until graduation) have much better long-term recovery from addicitons than those who do not.
